What? No one does drum recovery for $99.00. What’s Floor Style up to?

Well, now someone does. Floor Style is recovering 8″ and 12″ sander drums with 1/2″ red rubber for just $99.00. As many floor sanders know, this is the rubber used on Clarke American drum sanders. Galaxy floor sanding machines use the same rubber, but for them, it is 5/8″ thick. That’s two major players in the floor sanding market whose drums can now be recovered for $99.00.
If you have the black Vulcanized drum, we have to charge $199.00 to get them done because we ship them out to Vulcan and have Mr. Spock’s kids work on them. Kidding! We don’t really ship them off to Vulcan, but we do charge $199.00 for recovering them.
The drum will also be cleaned and the cams re-squared while we have it.
What are we up to? Simple. We’re getting business. It’s how capitalism works. We offer a service you need at a price you like and you come to us for business.
There is a limit of 1 drum recovered at this price per company per year, and some other conditions might apply. We’re all for capitalism, but we do have to make some money. The best way to get the complete details is to call one of the Floor Style sales associates. They know all the details and if they don’t, they know who does.

Those Buckeye people asked for it and now they have it. Their own Floor Style branch. It is located in Columbus, right about center of the state at 4852 Frusta Dr. Columbus, OH.
What makes this so significant is the shipping times. With this Floor Style open, there is a whole new bunch of contractors who get their stuff the next day! How cool is that?
I can hear the conversation already:
Floor Sander: “Hey boss, we’re out of sandpaper, can you order us some?”
Boss: “Yea.”
Floor Sander: “Good, it’ll be two days until it gets here. We’re going fishing.”
Boss: “No, it’ll be here tomorrow. No fishing for you this week! HA!”
Floor Sander (under his breath): “Why did Floor Style have to come to Ohio…durnit…taking away all my good fishing time….”
So bosses, if you really want to keep your floor sanders busy, give Floor style in Ohio a call at 614.497.9684.

Yesterday went just fine as sales go, phones were busy, lots of orders going out the door or onto the UPS trucks. Everyone was enthusiastic and the mood is brighter now that we’re into March and sales are climbing rapidly. And everyone is happier…except me.
First thing I did this morning when sitting down to work is slap my forehead. It made a marvelous slapping sound. I’d forgotten about the Buck-a-Bulb Day I’d planned. I really wanted it to be yesterday, as Monday is always the best day for that sale. Edger bulbs go out on almost every order, because there are thousands and thousands of Clarke B-2, B-2+, Super 7 and Super 7E edgers and toe-kick edgers out there in need of replacement bulbs.

Edger Bulb -- $1 or less
But I was a day late. I slapped my head. It left a a handprint.
We are having the sale today. $1 for replacement edger bulbs. Even less if you’re a Buyer’s Club Member.
What’s this? You don’t know about the Buyer’s Club?

Start Saving with the Floor Style Buyer's Club
The Buyer’s Club is a program offered exclusively by Floor Style Products, Inc. It is designed to help all hardwood flooring contractors to save hundreds of dollars every year. Club Members will save at least 10% off the manufacturer’s suggested retail price on all products sold at FSP, along with a 5% discount on labor rates. Club members are also offered unique discounts at least 12 times a year on the monthly Buyer’s Club Specials. These are products or services specifically chosen for just our Buyer’s Club members.
If you buy regularly from Floor Style, this is a Club you want to be a part of. Ask your sales associate about it when you call for your Edger Replacement Bulbs.
This month the Buyer’s Club Specials are the EHIP1 or 2 Distressing Scrapers. These are NOT the run of the mill scraper you have in your back pocket. These are specially designed, well-crafted scrapers for distressing a floor. Distressing a floor is the latest rage in hardwood flooring and becoming more popular. You might want to look into it.
