Those Buckeye people asked for it and now they have it. Their own Floor Style branch. It is located in Columbus, right about center of the state at 4852 Frusta Dr. Columbus, OH.
What makes this so significant is the shipping times. With this Floor Style open, there is a whole new bunch of contractors who get their stuff the next day! How cool is that?
I can hear the conversation already:
Floor Sander: “Hey boss, we’re out of sandpaper, can you order us some?”
Boss: “Yea.”
Floor Sander: “Good, it’ll be two days until it gets here. We’re going fishing.”
Boss: “No, it’ll be here tomorrow. No fishing for you this week! HA!”
Floor Sander (under his breath): “Why did Floor Style have to come to Ohio…durnit…taking away all my good fishing time….”
So bosses, if you really want to keep your floor sanders busy, give Floor style in Ohio a call at 614.497.9684.

Yea, I know, I’ve been away for a while and haven’t updated this blog as often as I’d like, but I have good reason! I was out teaching and training our employees in Florida, Maryland, Ohio and Nevada. Floor Style doesn’t pay me to just write these blogs, I do have a real job too, but thanks for the emails.
Ohio?! Yes, you read right. We now have an Ohio location that is up and shipping. This puts just about everyone in the Ohio River Valley within one day of receiving their product. The nice thing about that is Mike Hoy, a former floor sander himself and a long-time employee of Floor Style, is running the place. He can be reached at “his” office at 614-497-9682.
Now, on to the real business at hand, the Bona Traffic Anti-Slip. Floor Style has received a lot of calls and emails about this new Bona product. Most want to know the experiences others are having with using it. So far, the people I have talked to say it is just like using the regular Traffic product. The professionals have said it has the same coverage as the regular and goes down the same and uses the same hardener too. It is a satin sheen and has a “textured” feel.

Bona Traffic
Bona, the people who make this, say the Traffic Anti-slip meets the ADA recommendation for routes and ramps according to ASTM 2047. Not sure exactly what that means, but I do know it means something to contractors about how this product provides slip-resistance to improve safety in both the commercial and residential applications.
Now if you have an experience with this, please take a step forward and give us your thoughts. We’d like to know.

A repeat? Didn’t this special happen once before?
Yes it did. Worked pretty well too, so Floor Style is doing it again. When something works, it works.

$49.99 edger pad with purchase
Purchase any two cases of finish, say Bona Traffic Anti-slip, or maybe some DuraSeal MasterLine, or any of the Sampson Finishes…we’re not particular if you aren’t, and get a replacement edger pad for your B2, B2+, Super 7 or Super 7 E for just $49.99. Now you can only get one pad at this price, so no trying to trick our sales people.
Something else to think about is the Floor Style Buyer’s Club.

Save all year by joining the Buyer's Club
The Buyer’s Club is a program offered exclusively by Floor Style Products, Inc. It is designed to help all hardwood flooring contractors to save hundreds of dollars every year. Club Members will save at least 10% off the manufacturer’s suggested retail price on all products sold at Floor Style, along with a 5% discount on labor rates. Club members are also offered unique discounts at least 12 times a year on the monthly Buyer’s Club Specials.
