Tuesday’s Special

Settle down there. I saw what happened yesterday while I was on the road making deliveries. I never even had a chance to mention it here in the blog, but we sold a boat load of those 6″ finish applicators for $1 yesterday. I think some people took advantage of that special. Well, it’s too late now, those of you who didn’t get in on it will have to wait until the next time the General Manager has that special.

Today is buy 1, Get 1 Free day on the 18″ T-bar refill, with a limit of one with your order. What that means is you can’t call up, order one and get one free without have more than those two items on the order.

I like these days because the sales associates, who get the e-mail announcing the special of the day at 8 a.m., will now have to scribble a little note down to adjust the price on the second refill to zero dollars. This will cause our software to pop up a warning saying we are not making any money. That does not sit well with sales people as you might well guess.

Some of you might know, because the faxes which Floor Style sends out come from this same office, that we have a very nice “Cleat Week” going on. Faxes go out infinitely slower than emails, so some of you won’t know until later this week about this special:

1 package of 10,000 Bostitch 2″ 16 ga. cleat (SBSN2) will be mailed to you by us for just $89.99 complete. Usually its about $164 and change plus shipping, but it’s that time of year, so we’re going a little crazy drumming up sales.

Also, in case I forgot to mention it, Buyer’s Club members, the Crain 820 HD Undercut Saw is on sale to you for $249.99 for the rest of the month. Might want to give this a good look. These are a very good saw at a really good price this month.
