Snow Specials

Two of our four branches, the ones in Michigan and Maryland, are under winter storm warnings. Maryland is still digging out from the one over the weekend and Michigan is just hunkered down because we’re used to it.

So what do we do? We try to convert everyone.

Michigan has in stock a bunch of conversion kits for your edger. The kit (Part #SBD1041) will allow you to do away with the bolt on type of erdger disks and use hook and loop disks.

Why is this so cool? Back when I started at Floor Style I worked on machines. One common edger issue was the bolt. After a while, the bolt hole would fill up with dust and gunk and the bolt wouldn’t tighten unless it was really reefed on. That lead to the bolt being stripped and the gunk being tightly packed into the bolt hole and the pad would slip and calls all sorts of problems.

Now, there is no bolt to tighten, no edger wrench to find. The hook and loop disks just peal off the pad and another is slapped into place. (No, it is not right to use the old one as a frisbee and fling it at your co-worker) It is the kind of convenience you overlook so often, but then one day realize: “Hey! Cool!”

The kits are on sale for $1.99 ea. limit 2, when regularly they sell for over $5.00. The Michigan toll free number is 800-767-8953.

And our other branch offices? Nevada will have rain and 45 degrees today and Florida is sunny and 78 today. Sometimes, it just isn’t fair.
